Michalis Kleopas is the founder and Managing Partner of Kleopas & Kleopas LLC. He was born and raised in Famagusta. After his graduation from the Greek High School of Famagusta, he studied law at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He has been practicing law in Nicosia since 1977. For a number of years, he served as a member of the Legal Council, the Disciplinary Counsel of Advocates, and the Board of the Pancyprian Bar Association. He acts as secretary and is a member of the Board of Directors of a number of public and private companies.
Mayia graduated from the University of Manchester (LLB) with Honours and after having successfully completed the Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC), she was called to the Bar of England & Wales and is a member of the Honourable Society of Gray’s Inn. Mayia obtained a Masters in Law (LLM) specialising in corporate law from University College London (UCL). She is also an accredited mediator from the Ministry of Justice and a member of the Cyprus Consumer Center for Alternative Dispute Resolution, as well as a member of the Famagusta and Cyprus Bar Association.
Mayia has extensive experience in the provision of private client services and is specialised in commercial law and all types of real estate transactions.
Kyriacos Masouris
Kyriacos graduated from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and is a Member of the Nicosia and Cyprus Bar Association. Kyriacos is currently a member of the firm’s litigation department. He is primarily involved in disputes and cases concerning criminal law, banking, insurance, contracts, family law and general litigation.
He has practiced as a litigator and has extensive expertise in criminal law with emphasis on white collar crime and was involved in several high-profile criminal and disciplinary cases
Emily graduated from the University of Surrey (LLB) with Honours. She continued her education and professional training at the University of Law where she completed the Legal Practice Course (LPC) with a Distinction and obtained a Masters (LLM) specialising in Alternative Dispute Resolution. Emily was admitted to the Famagusta and Cyprus Bar Association in 2019 and is currently a member of the firm’s litigation department. Her core areas of practice include contract law, family law and employment law.
Pantelis graduated from the University of Sheffield (LLB) with honours. Pantelis has completed his legal training at Kleopas & Kleopas LLC and is a Member of the Nicosia and Cyprus Bar Association since 2012 and is currently a member of the firm’s litigation department. Pantelis regularly appears before the Supreme Court and District Courts and further conducts litigation in the ambit of amongst others Contract law, Tort Law, Family Law, Employment law acting for both Companies and individuals.
Loukia Marangos
Loukia graduated from the University of Westminster (LLB) with Honours and went on to work in Qatar for four years, first in the commercial and contracts department of a construction company, and later on as a paralegal at Pinsent Masons (Doha branch) focusing mainly on major construction arbitrations. In 2020 she was admitted to the Cyprus Bar Association and worked as a litigation lawyer, until she joined the corporate and commercial team of our firm in early 2023.
Chara Artemiou
Chara graduated from the University of Essex (LLB) with Honours. Then, she completed the Legal Practice Course and obtained a Masters in Law in Professional Legal Practice (LPC LLM) from the University of Law. Chara was admitted to the Cyprus Bar Association in 2021 and worked as a corporate junior lawyer. She is currently a member of the firm’s commercial department.
